I am considering a Speedmaster - was looking at the Moonwatch - but also interested in one the following two as they are being offered with a good discount, anyone have any experience and thoughts on these 2 57's - I know they have the 9300 movement, i guess they are not metas - but any thoughts and experiences on them would be appreciated, or would you go for the Pro Moonwatch instead?

first - 331.10.42.51.01.002

second - 331.10.42.51.01.001

Thanks

I always liked these dial designs and case shape but they're very thick which makes them unwearable for me

Hello,

my 0.02 mx pesos comment.

I own a faux patina versión same as the first pic.
beautiful design and great 9300mov.

But as mentioned before it’s very thick.
If you have large wrists and like modern size Watches go for it.

I prefer my SP Pro’s over my 57 any day.

Good luck

The 57 trilogy is probably my fav speedmaster

Just because it wears small and it’s different from all other speedmasters. It fits perfectly

It really depends on what you are really looking for, if you want the look of the original issue Speedmaster dial, and steel bezel, but want a modern movement then the newer ones are a reasonable choice. They are pretty thick but if you have a decent sized wrist that really isn't an issue, try them on and see how it works for you. But if you really like that original Speedmaster look the Trilogy Speedmaster may be a better option. I have a Trilogy Speedmaster and it is a very easy watch to wear, a compact size and pretty authentic to the original.

You mentioned you can get one of the 57's at a good discount, but that should never be the reason to buy something. We've all done that at one time or the other and lived to regret it. Buy what you want, don't let the price dictate your selection.

'57 Trilogy gets my vote as well. They did a really good job with all three Trilogy models IMHO (even if the faux-aged lume is a bit on the brown side for my taste).
