I recently put a new battery in my Omega Moonswatch, (Mission to Pluto) and now the seconds hand won't reset to the 12 o'clock position, it stops at the 11:55 position. But for $200, I'm not going to worry about it.

You should be able to adjust that with the crown in the right position. Should have instructions in the manual…

Just found out today that my Snoopy 50 broke. I fully wound the watch this morning around 8 hours ago and noticed that the time was off by about 40 min. I engaged the chrono button and the chrono hand stuttered and stopped. I reset the chrono pressing the bottom pusher and noticed that the bottom pusher can now be pushed multiple times.
That sounds like the issue the first 3861s had upon release, the chrono would hang up upon start up.

Took my watch to the OB in Houston to get it serviced. The SA tried to wind it and couldn’t. Also the reset pusher no longer activates. It’s going to be repaired under warranty. They don’t have an estimate right now on how long it’ll be gone.

Sorry. Mine is also one of the first batch, I'll keep fingers crossed. On the bright side, if it has to happen, hopefully may be during warranty period.

I'm joining this discussion because I’ve noticed the same issue described by the original poster on this particular Speedmaster 3861. I wanted to ask for your thoughts: this slight stuttering of the chronograph seconds hand - meaning a ticking motion that lacks smoothness - only appears when the watch is in a vertical position, as shown at the beginning of the video. It also only occurs between the 12 and 6 o’clock positions, as if gravity causes just enough additional play between the chronograph seconds gear train to result in this less fluid advancement. This behavior does not occur when the watch is held in other orientations, as seen in the second part of the video.

What do you think? Does this fall within the normal tolerance of the 3861 movement?

It runs smooth, as it does in every other rotation besides when it is vertical as per the video.
