Last Sunday I bought my first "vintage" Speedmaster, I always wanted one as a complement to my new Speedy from 2008.

Here it is:

What do you believe, should I opt for a relume of the minute and hour hand or should I leave them as they are?

kind regards,

Timo

Today I combined the Speedy with a Kaufmann Taurillon to wear it. But in the afternoon it suddenly stopped working.
My initial thought was: "What is going on here?" - You know there was a loose screw that could be seen in one of the images in the sales corner.
I solved that myth, the screw found it`s way right into the balance.

The good news is, I managed to get it out and back into it`s place.

So its working again and ofcourse it was time to meet some friends and relatives:
Speedys small chubby brother in law the Tissot Pr 516 Chrono and it`s German counterpart the Sinn 103.

I'd re-lume the hands as I find missing lume unattractive.

Well done extracting the screw and re-fitting. Just in case you decide to check all of them with the logic that if one was left loose, there may be others, be careful as some of the "screws" are actually eccentrics and shouldn't be touched.

Nice watches, enjoy.

And finally my 3590.50 is back from service with perfect matching re-lumed hands and equipped with a Forstner flat-link bracelet. - I love it!
