    Hi all
I fancy putting a leather strap on my Speedy.
    Am I correct in thinking it's 20mm?
It looks like it but I just want to clarify with my learned colleagues.

20mm is correct, but a 19mm strap will be slightly easier to fit and change back later.

Thanks Dennis. Good idea about the 19mm. Wouldn't want to hurt the little treasure.

All Omega OEM and most, good quality straps are designed to facilitate proper fitting w/o damaging the case - these incorporate an opening in the back side of the strap to assist during the removal and fitting. I would not use a leather strap on my Speedy that is not 20mm, anything smaller than what the case was designed for will look wrong.

I have no problems getting a 20mm leather strap off on on my Speedy & wouldn't go any smaller. :)

I've ordered a 20mm strap, as to be honest, couldn't find one I liked in 19mm. Thanks for all of your input.

If heard of both for going with a 19mm strap for a 20 mm lug width, as well as going for a 20mm strap for a 19mm lug width. Both seem to me as short term solutions at best, the first leaves that 1 mm space that will bother me (OCD maybe :) ), while the second will look a bit crowed after exiting the lugs.

After the first couple of times it may seem way easier than at first :).
