Since a comment was made about an item I am selling, I would like to clarify, if that's ok.

The case I am selling was not manufactured in the 1970s, but it is my understanding (and I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong) that it is identical to the mid-cases from that time. It would be analogous to using an authentic Omega crystal that was made later. Not "of the era", but indistinguishable, authentic, and correct. So I would not say that it is "for" a later Speedmaster, although perhaps that is semantics. It is a correct mid-case for a 1970s 145.022.

 

With pushers and a case back that can be stashed for later... I thought it was a great price and nearly IMd you myself.
