I bought the same watch this week and I am delighted. It looks really nerdy on the wrist, I literally fell in love :

Looks like the original box and manual too.

Thanks for the link Ash, these don't come up very often and I would really like an original.

Hi guys, looks like there is some professional of the 186.0004 watch here!
I was in Bienne at the Omega museum few months ago and I'm in love with this watch! But it's look like it's pretty hard to found one :-(

Indeed there are some. And if you keep your eyes open here and on the Bay you might one - they pop up for sale time to time. ;)

Did you enjoy your trip to Bienne? Was the 186.004 the only highlight for you? Welcome to the forum.

Thanks, sorry for my English, but I'm French ;-)
Ok so I will keep my eyes open, what is the "good" price for this model, if it work perfectly and look in good shape?
Biennia and the Omega Museum was awesome! I really enjoyed to hear all the stories of the Speedmaster, so sad that the Snoopy awards model was not presented.

The price for a nice 186.0004 is somewhere between 2-3k USD based on what I have seen. Less if watch only, maybe more if full set with box and papers.

The picture you posted above is a prototype watch made for NASA back in 1979. They differ from the production watch in that they are cal 1621, which uses a tritium paint behind the glass to give them a permanent glow for the LCD, they made around 20. 12 went to NASA and a number of them where flown on shuttle missions. Here the price is in line with the quantity ever produced, obviously higher than what I quoted for standard cal. 1620 186.0004s above. ;)

Ok, so price seems to be a little bit higher that I was thinking.
But I will check if I can found one, I'm really in love with this model.
Thanks for your information about the one at the Omega Museum :)

Any one has a spare 186.0004 box lying around? I have the watch, bracelet, manual and hang tags. Just missing a puzzle piece :D
