Another duplicate from my personal collection is for sale. All Original Moonwatch in very nice condition. This 1971 Speedmaster reference is not seen for sale very often. It has two defining attributes which make it very desirable for collectors. It is the last Moonwatch with a raised, stepped dial and it is the first to introduce the NASA medallion caseback. This medallion caseback has appeared on virtually all standard Moonwatches since the 145.022-71. Watch features the easy to service 861 movement and is mounted on a 1171/1 (not original) bracelet with 633 end links. Pictures below tell the story. Every component in the watch appears original. The dial, hands and DNN bezel are in very nice condition and have patinated attractively. Tritium lume has turned a pleasing off white and is fully present in both the hands and dial. See lume shot below. The watch runs well and Chrono runs and resets properly. Service history is unknown. Case has some very minor dings but is sharp and does not appear to have ever been polished. By the look of the unworn case, Bezel and caseback, this watch didn't see much wristtime. 861 Movement number is 32840xxx. The 1171/1 bracelet (1980s vintage) is very similar to the original 1171, is full length (over 8" total with watch), in solid condition and perfect as a daily wearer. Asking $4,100 USD which includes domestic Fedex shipping with parcelpro insurance. Foreign shipping available as well. I am a well known Omega collector (not a dealer) on OmegaForums with many references and am a longtime Ebay member with over 275 positive transactions. Kindly message me with any comments, questions and offers. Payment via bank wire or PayPal gift. Face to face in New York area is possible. 3 day review period after receipt by buyer. Any returns are at buyer's expense. Returned watch must be in exact same condition and include all papers and boxes. No partial refunds. Full tritium lume under UV light First Moonwatch with, now famous, NASA/Speedmaster Moon Landing Medallion. Engraving is sharp and crisp. Long enough for the heftiest wrist! Outdoors
