till now the 145.022-69 was not really on my radar, but today i found this 2 Speedys on a watchmarket. The first one with serial 30...... comes with a nice dot90 bezel and a also nice 1039/516 and papers, only the puscher's are wrong but thats's not a big thing. The other one with serial 31.... have in my opinion the nicer patina and a nice faded bezel. Both caseback's are stamped with 145.022-69. The basic idea was to find a nice cal.321, but there was nothing...only one with all parts replaced during a service some years ago.....
I like them both, maybe # 1 a bit more with nice DON bezel, papers and band. Both cases look to be in good shape. Let us know if you go for one (or both ).
In regards to the first 69 with the wrong pushers, correcting this problem (if you care) might be an issue. The wrong pushers appear to be the short wide variety normally found on a 105.012. I believe these are (currently) friction type pushers. The correct pushers for a 69 are screw in type pushers. This may be indicative that the case was originally a 105.012 HF case. You might want to further investigate the case before buying the first 69.
that's an interesting point, thank you. I have measured the pusher size, they are 4,5mm x 3,0mm. It looks like that this pusher's maybe are from a 105.003 ? Now i have to check if this are friction or screwed type.
I believe it's as follows Friction: 105.012 5mm short, 105.003 4.5mm Screw in: 2998 4mm, 145.012 5mm Good luck
I'm just back from my watchmaker and I'm happy that the 4.5mm pushers are screwed ones. So we changed the just the pushers with some old and correct 5mm ones. Now i have some 4.5mm screwed pushers, are they from a 105.003 or maybe from another Speedy ?
Funny, I didn't notice you trying to help @incabloc work out his situation? It is a well established OF policy that YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOOSE
...so it seems that there were both types of cases for 105.003. I wonder if there's any rhyme to which reference had which pushers...
Ok, so it seems these 4.5mm (medium) pushers can be friction or screw in?? Does that means there were two cases for the 105.003? If this stuff has already been covered, my apologies.
