As I've mentioned previously due to a few too many incomings over the last period I'm in the process of a smallish sell off. Here today for sale I have a Speedmaster 145.022-69, now I know a little bit about Omega but don't claim to be a Speedmaster guru so my description probably won't be up to much for many of you! The watch isn't perfect as it misses its dial lume but it does have some attractive aspects non the less..... This one actually came to me from the original owner who bought it here in NL in a jewellers shop that still exists today in Utrecht. I actually frequent the shop once in a while and know Mr. Punte jr. who is now the proprietor. The watch comes with its purchase receipt. The dial is in excellent shape except for the fact that it is missing its lume, for the rest it has an even colour with no blemishes. When I bought it it had an incorrect minute hand ( I think from a MkII ) so I sourced a suitably expensive set of old tritium hour and minute hands which are now fitted. The DON bezel is in the condition seen. The crystal has a few marks ( around 9 o clock ) that can be seen in a couple of the pictures, these could be polished out easily if desired. The case is overall in really good shape, a little worn but still nice and sharp. As too is the case back and seahorse logo. The crown and pushers are correct for this vintage. The calibre 861 movement is operating correctly, winding is smooth, the chrono is resetting, etc. It is working well, but I haven't had it serviced and I believe the first owner hadn't worn it for a decade before I bought it from him. It also came with an undated 1039/516 combo ( 7 stretch links and excellent 516's ) so I'll be offering this one with two prices.
