Could be a pretty nice bezel hiding under the crud, but it's a crap-shoot. Needs a sweep hand and a re-lume.

Very gracious of you, but you might have just 3x the price...

I think this will clean up nicely, just needs a little TLC. There is also a decent autavia on there too. I miss the days when these were just tossed into the store instead of onto an online auction website.

Yes they have clearly grown more sophisticated after the famous JLC Deep Sea Alarm story

Hardly any good deals on their site anymore. That Speedmaster will sell for $7500 and nobody knows if it even works. People are infatuated with the idea that everything is all original if it’s on their website. They also let anybody create an account so tons of BS bidders that drive up the price and never pay if they win. It’s not like eBay where you get negative ratings.

Last year they had a Tudor Sub 9411 that sold for 9k and it was missing the crown! Who knows if the movement was totally rusted through? The watch looked like a hot mess but people acted like they find a buried treasure

Far out. Makes my similar condition (also needs a relume and a service) 145.012 a bargain at just over $3k US (via a watchmaker for a few months ago).
