    Hi Guys,

The German ebay is currently offering an Omega Speedmaster 145.012 - 67. Apart from the fact that there is no real bracelet, the watch looks very good in my opinion. What do you all mean?

Here are some fotos from the auction:

Title of your thread should be amended to Speedmaster.

Other than that, this looks like a nice example, just need to check the serial number which I cannot discern from the photo. The bracelet does not look original to the watch.

:) Thank you, have adapted the title. Why am I just constantly thinking about seamasters?

Bracelet is a flix-o-flex, nothing important. Serial seems to start with 26 to me, so it looks like 1968.

Very smart to do this before Auction end, this one will be no bargain now..and I might as well will just outbit all others. :)

I'm already aware of having alerted other forists with this thread. I was so naive to believe that here you would just help each other and I just wanted to ask your assessment.

In the end, the watch does not have to be a bargain, it should meet the expectations and be available at a standard price, then everything would be fine for me.

If someone desperately wants to offer this watch, we can deny that so as not to push each other higher. I would like to have a 145.012, but I do not necessarily have to buy it here in this auction. There are a lot of offers.

    Is this possible?

Now this is a real find that we all love. Looks to be in a completely unmolested condition. Beautiful dial, hands and DON. I'm sure this one will make the buyer happy:thumbsup:

Teardrop hand, tritium, sharp case. Not bad.

So, the watch has now gone away for € 8,800.00. I myself was in the last 15 seconds with a bid for € 7,007,00 highest bidder. This price has been too high for me in a private sale with an unknown maintenance history and the not so great photos.

BTW: Where should be a downturn with Speedy prices?

With some imagination and experience one could see this was a very good and appeaing Speedy, hence the price. I'd always prefer one like this for 9k over any cheaper with less pleasent looks and condition. In the long run, these are the ones to go for, not only from a financial perspective but also.

I do not feel like a specialist, so I asked here.

But I am glad that I spontaneously recognized a beautiful one. My knowledge seems to have improved in the meantime. I like the watch as it is also very nice. Everything seemed to be right and the patina is very nice.

Dial looks off for a 145.012. If legit worth a lot thou as it might be correct for older reference.
