Hello! I will do my best to describe it and post some photos my wife took with her Canon and a few with my IPhone. I am more than willing to answer any questions or take additional photos for serious buyers. Provenance: I recently bought this from the grandson of the original owner. He inherited it along with some other vintage pieces. Condition: I am a novice collector of Speedmasters, therefore I would prefer to let the photos do the talking. To my eyes it is pleasing overall. I feel the bezel looks better in the metal than macros but please examine the pics. I do not believe the watch is overly polished but again, I will leave that up to the buyer. There is little to no lume left. It does not glow even when hit with a flash. Otherwise the dial is in nice shape. Excuse dust please. ** There is a ding on the pusher. I didn't notice this until pointed out by a potential buyers. DOH! I do not not know if the crown and pushers are correct. I am still learning. Any info would be appreciated. Serial is correct per speedmaster101 Watch was recently serviced! For real! This watch was serviced by Shreve, Crump and Low in March of 2017 and carries a 1 year warranty. I have uploaded the paperwork from Shreve . I will also let them know the new buyer's info as needed. I have already been there and there were no problems with them honoring the transfer. Full disclosure. When I received the watch, it appeared the hour register wasn't resetting to zero. I brought it to Shreve and they said it was loose on the post. They adjusted it and i have worn it off and on for a week and run the chrono many many times and it seems to be fine after this adjustment. I bought a replacement vintage hand thinking I would need it and can include it in the sale if desired. However everything seems fine and I would much rather keep the original hand intact. Why am I selling: This was a catch and release as I already have a 145.012-67. Terms and Payments: Bankwire or Paypal gift preferred. Paypal purchase with references only. Strongly prefer a US deal. Face to Face in Boston will work also! I also would like to say "No Returns" but if you are truly unhappy because I misstated something in the ad we can talk. Buyers remorse or pissed off wives do not count I am afraid. I will cover 2 day shipping anywhere in the US included in the price... Trades: Not really considering trades at this time but if I was blown away... Would possibly consider a serviced SpeedSonic as a partial trade otherwise unlikely (due to my wife) My References: I am not the most active member but love to post snarky replies to uncle threads. More importantly, I have bought 2 watches from @Kringkily . I believe he left me feedback for at least 1. I sold a Constellation a while ago to a member who is active on WUS but registered on OF to buy it. I can provide his contact info on WUS. Additionally I have over 500 feedback buying and selling on Ebay and an active Etsy shop. Additionally, I was granted access to the Sales Forum with less than 200 posts. Price: $6000 I hope that covers everything but if not, I am sure some gracious members will help me out. Now to the important part... pictures! I will also include an Omega Velcro NASA strap
Bump again! Instead of a generic NATO and leather rally I will now include a genuine Omega Velcro reissue NASA strap!
It was brought to my attention by a well respected member that my photos ... well... sucked. Hard. I'm trying to rectify that. here is my attempt 2.0. I will be able to take better movement photos in a day or so when my case back opener from @Pahawi arrives.
Not to give the hard sell fellas, but well, here goes the hard sell: 1) This watch has a documented full service with 11 months left on the warranty. (Original cost ~$1000!) 2) Includes the NASA reissue velcro strap, i think these run around $100 or so 3) The price is 1200 less that the cheapest 145.012 on ebay! 4) Think about what the bezel would sell for if you put it online just by itself! 5) It's Easter! Nothing commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus like a new-to-you Speedmaster on the wrist! 6) 145.012 is undervalued. Check out the Speedmaster101 chart and look at the pricing trend between 105.012-> 145.012 ->145.022.
GLWTS from a fellow Bostonian I already own a 145.012 1967 or else I would be all over this one Go Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots
