Hello, I have a pre moon Speedmaster 145.003. Where can I find more info about this specific reference? Regards, Fred
Hello Fred. Post up some photos and a little intro how you received the watch etc. members love to see the older pieces.
Hey @OmegaFred , that's a rare reference. I'm sure many here would love to see some pictures! It is mentioned on the speedmaster101 web site, though more as a footnote as they really aren't very common. http://speedmaster101.com/105-003/ Welcome to the forum!
Actually if you have a 145.003 it's mythical. I would love to see it. It's a re numbered 105.003 but I have never seen one with the reference number stamped in the back. I have see pictures of a 105.003 case back with 145.003 added in different font, and several images of extracts labeling a watch as 145.003 with a note saying it is an internal reference for a 105.003. Pictures of inside the case back please?
Sorry, 145.003 is NOT mythical, this is simply the new name for the 105.003 after summer 1967. Now, if there is a restamping "145.003" this is pretty rare, but no idea of the origin of this restamping.
Perhaps used the wrong word, just trying to convey that the 145.003 is more talked of than seen, and in fact I have never seen one, and not seen a confirmed "marked" one.
Fould this 105.003 for sale tonight with a price tags £7000 ouch surly it's not worth this ? Is it ...
I've never seen a caseback stamped 145003, at most there are some 105.003 called 145003 on the extract of archive only. http://orologi.forumfree.it/?t=67742573
You can't just leave all these members chomping at the bit without showing a photo of the inner caseback!
Interesting! Maybe it's another 140003... Ask the extract to Omega. P.S. The 105/145003 is not mine, follow the link on the OP italian forum...
I came across a 65 being sold recently. Had the original Omega sales tag which was stamped with the serial number of the movement 25******, and also stamped 145.003 on the same Omega sales tag. No other papers other than the tag. But looked genuine. 1035 bracelet with 506 ends. So all looking correct for the period. Sadly/frustratingly, there was no picture of the caseback trying to obtain that now. But I would put my money on it being 105.003-65 for sure.
