    Hi guys

I found this 1984 speedy professional in a store near my home.

Price 2900 euro, with box and papers.

According to my research online the 46.8XX.XXX serial puts it in 1985 but according to the papers it was sold in December 1984. I guess this is not impossible?

Would really like to own a moon watch and this seems like a good deal to me, but I would like to be sure as I am not a speedy expert...

    Thanks

    Wim

"According to papers" = it has box & papers?

What is that under the "Swiss Made" marking on the dial - is that wear / damage, or is that just the way the photo is taken?

Hands look like they could be modern replacements, but not 100% sure on that.

I'd also verify the bracelet is original before buying.

Even if all checks out, that's still a bit expensive IMO though, so be sure to negotiate :)

    Thank you for your expertise!

Yes it had box and papers.

There is no damage other than some nicks in the bezel.

I had also noticed that the hands are much whiter than the hour indicators...

There indeed seems to be some flaking on the black tension ring/rehaute just below the 7 o'clock. Bezel is not in very good shape for this vintage. There are many better condition watches sell for less than that.
