I’ve had a few which turned out to be dogs and then this one cropped up in Ebay for less than £1K and I leapt! Tony repaired in and all in it still stands me at less than an average one would!

I guess you could look at that way but it’s not like a 1450.22 with a separate tachy, the tachy on these is part of the crystal so I’m far less precious about it.

TBH I also never really worry about that, I am quite happy to change bands and even bezels, doesn’t bother me a bit
