I have a 105.012 that I've had for some time. I don't have an extract so I don't have that part of the history.

My question is this, the serial number is in the low 25 million range and the case back is stamped 105.012-66. My research shows that the movement dates to early 1967 and I believe they stopped producing this watch in 66. My question is could this movement have been the original or would it have been too late for this watch?

Sounds ok for a -66. I’m pretty sure one of mine was very similar. Have you checked the serial against either Moonwatch Inly or Speedmaster101.com?

The 105.012-66 Speedmaster was produced in 1967 and 1968 in two versions Hf and CB
Serial range of the movement: 24.533.xxx - 25.448.xxx (MWO)

Everything looks fine with your watch IMHO, but an abstract of the archives would be helpful anyway.

Cheers
