So far we are at 11 to 3 in favor of the CB case ( one tie). I hope more members will weigh in.👍

HF for me. It’s harder to find, especially in fine condition.

For me 105.012-66 with case supplied by La Centrale Boites des Biene stands de difference in terms of uniqueness of middle case design, could be here hours and hours debating this, but for me a CB is a CB.
You have no other pre moon speedmaster ref. with twisted lugs been produced with this case design.
I think that tells it all.

HF for me.The lugs have a clean flow.I understand the CB case is a 1 year model specific finish but that line looks wrong to my eyes.

HF.

Why? Well, it’s the one I own ::facepalm1::
I prefer the standard Speedmaster case design over the cb, even if it would be cool to own both

A bit slow off the mark and in the minority but I'll go for the H.F. case.

While the HF might be the rarer one in this sub reference, the CB for me ranks higher as it is more distinguishable from for instance an 145.012. So, reasoning from the perspective of noticeably different additions to my humble collection; I'd vote for the CB.

I’m one for the HF, might be bias as I own a nice one. 😀
Great resurrection of this old thread. It also needs more HF -66 pictures so here’s one prior to service, a lot of dust under the crystal.

Hey!, I like your bezel choice. That's my CB.

I have both and slightly prefer HF case of the two examples I own as I can’t get enough of the patina on the dial. BUT, if everything is equal my VOTE goes for the CB case as I prefer the unique facet lines especially if sharp as a razor.
