Very nice. Hands are of course later replacements (should be a fantail sweep seconds). Otherwise really cool watch & GLWTS, T.
Thank you for the comment tomvox1 ... How is it that they have the same glow and duration in the dark as the tritium on the Dial? Kind regards, Eric
Hello Eric, Well the hands look to be Tritium filled. And Tritium Omega hands & dials tend to still glow strongly, whether they're from the 60s or 70s or later. But the correct shape of the sweep seconds hand for the cal. 321 ref. 105.012 (and 145.012) is really not up for debate: it is fantail shaped not squared off. The squared off chrono sweep wasn't introduced until the cal. 861 reference 145.022 but then was often used as a service replacement on the 321 models. So at a minimum that has been replaced and I would guess all three main hands have at some point. That said, the your watch as a whole is something of Grail and I feel you have it well priced. I can honestly tell you if I had the money I would make a run at it. Good luck, Tom
I am sorry for this major increase (forgot my decrease on July 20th)... ofcourse price is € 11.111,-..
Bump and pictures of the watch and movement.. I know it is a high number (for a 145.012), but my watchmaker (retired and worked for Omega) told me that this was 'normal' and perhabs partly because of the CB-housing (?). Also the seller told me that the watch came from the first buyer of the watch.... I have seen a couple of strange issues.. see a picture of another watch beneath (from another OF-seller).
Hi pitpro, No, it is a caseback from another Speedmaster 105.012-66 CB... The last picture is a mistake and I copied it in my reply. Kind regards, Eric
