Although not of interest to me: Maybe someone else? http://www.wannabuyawatch.com/indpages/42047.html
A Pre-Professional with a 1966 serial number? Admittedly, I'm not a Speedmaster fan so I don't follow them religiously, but wasn't Professional printed on all the dials by this time?
No Professional is ok But this one is tricky. Need the real mavens here. Hartmann table says ok up to 23xxxxxxx this is just over 24xxxxxxx 105.003 I guess was made from 1963-1965/6 I guess which is kinda weird. My question-why?
Watch looks ok to me including the movement serial. From the one picture the subdial hands look newer than the rest of the watch. And the price is IMO too high.
this guy is always too high. must be the cali clientele i tried to buy a Monte Carlo from him once and I wasn't thrilled by the negotiation, so screw it, I don't even look there anymore
He sells cars with soft Corinthian leather too? Oh, nevermind..... that was the Cordoba. What year Monte Carlo was it?
If that's the case then we need to think about a new business for us to consider. How about "genuine soft Corinthian Leather" watch straps?
From what I can see, everything is good with that 105.003-65, including lugs, which are still thick and sharp.
