Sorry. Yeah. That was a confusing thread. The post was about the 145.012. Then about half way down the discussion started on the 105003

Just love the way OF members have an encyclopedic memory when previously discussed watches turn up again.
Ouch! 20% price premium over previously..........at least you have some theoretical bargaining power (assuming the C24 seller was the one that paid $10k for it).

Sadly that encyclopaedic knowledge seems to desert me when trying to remember family birthdays and arguably any event that my wife has arranged me to attend. ::facepalm1::

Ha. Very true. If one had the power to sell a cherished vintage watch, in order to gain the power of remembering family birthday/events dates........would you do it???

So. I have apparently the worst memory in the world. Especially when it comes down to family events.
But apparently I have the best memory when it relates to watches, either that I have bought or have wanted to buy.

So the question is, if you could reverse that power. Sell off one vintage watch you own, to gain the power of never forgetting a family birthday or event, would you do it?

Stupid fun. One whereby I shall remain ignorantly and blissfully happy surrounded by watches:) :taunt:

But you are not actually forgetting family stuff per se. To have forgotten it assumes that for a tangible period of time you were actually remembering it. If you are like me, then my wife swears that she told me something, which I vehemently deny that she ever told me.

OK. I just slapped myself in the face and realised what I wrote. ::facepalm1::
