Wow - Marvelous job bringing this scruffy cat back to life! Please share details of the restoration process. How were the hands cleaned up? How was the caseback refreshed? Who did the work?

Oh my....now, that is a fanastic find and a marvelous watch! An huge congrats!

What happened to the bracelet? It looks excellent too, and a watch like that (especially the ref) with its original bracelet must be extremely rare!

It was more cleaning process than restoration. Everything has been done in the Service in Warsaw, Poland. The watchmaker told me that ithis Omega was not opened a few decades - the seal was very heavily vulcanized. All parts stay original from '62 - I bought a new glass and bezel insert in Omega, but I didnt decide to replace it.
Bracelet has been totally dismantled for parts, cleaned, straightened and lightly polished. The same was done with the case plus have been installed new seals. The glass was polished. Movement has been disassembled, cleaned and greased - works with an accuracy c.a. + / - 1-2sek/24h.

    And that's all :)

Who did the bracelet refurbishment? And what instructions did you give them? Both the bracelet, and caseback are superbly refinished.
