Just been lucky enough to get my first Omega watch, brand new Speedmaster pro. Fantastic watch but the serial number ends with 0000, is this unusual? I noticed it on the warranty card and can just make out the same on the watch itself.

 

All the numbers are unique. I could just as easily say mine finishes in 5926, is that unusual? It's just we humans like patterns and 0000 seems "different". It's like 1,2,3,4,5,6 is just as likely as any other number to come up on the lottery, but we all "know" it can't.

 

Send it back to Omega (or me...) and they cut you a check for $1 million.

PS. If you send it to me, I won't send the check.....
