Adminstration Alert - Archer do not click on video, we can not take responsibility for your health

Stumbled across this one today. Not sure to cry, laugh, kick the dog or just ask for some kind of gallows-thing.
Especially like the way the bracelet is being handled. Just a small plus and a special service to the client.
    Nice ::screwloose::
Looking forward to bring my watch (no Speedmaster) to the guy-around-the-corner next time it needs a service....

Here's the solution/paste used in the final step, available in selected supermarkets. :D

Lol, loved how he spit on paper towel then wiped. And then finished up with tooth brush.

Refreshing to see a Brit use a toothbrush! ;)

I kid...anyway, this should be titled "How to break every rule of polishing by Ian!"

Remove movement from case (and bracelet) before polishing? Nope!

Use a different buff for each grade of abrasive? Nope!

Thoroughly clean the workpiece between each grade of abrasive? Nope!

Proper post polish cleaning in an ultrasonic tank? Nope!

But hey, that's about as good as it gets, eh? Nope!

Thanks for the warning so I could steel myself before watching that...

    Cheers, Al

We need a sticky somewhere, and everytime someone asks the question "should I polish my watch", we just point them to this video.

The power drill on the bench is classic. That must be for the really bad scratches.

I feel like such a wuss. I made it to 1:53 and I couldn't watch any more.

At least the bezel was missing the abuse. Probably pried it out with an icepick before he got started with the sandpaper...

I found the guy that polished my 105.012 and replaced the pushers!!! Must have been that power drill coupled with a delicate touch.

    Holy f.................n' sheeeeeeeeeeeeeit!

It was like watching a car crash, I knew I should look away but I couldn't.

And the hesalite no longer has a beautiful dome, I wonder how thick, or should I say thin the crystal is in the centre now.

This is a big concern for this man as a watchmaker...the customer swore it was a mineral crystal and he didn't know any better!
