In fairness I don’t actually know what the going rate for a Soviet space suit is but I’ve got a space in my entryway where it would look pretty cool, and it’s not a bad answer to the question what do you get the Speedy fanatic who has everything...

Well ... at that price they'd have to include the neato cart for propping it up.

I guess this is the modern day equivalent of displaying a suit of armor.

I think this is the UK Governments new Tier 6 Regulations for the over 65's at social gatherings.

Kinda would understand the asking price if that really had been to space or used in EVA.

But then again, millionaires have bought weirder "show-off" items.

Clashes with the colors in my entryway... it's a no go, Houston we've got a problem.

Lots of potential uses for this:
- scares the hell out of any intruder
- hidden camera inside helmet
- turn it into a cool floor lamp with light inside helmet
- keep the walker for future use as zimmer frame

Not necessarily. These are customs made for each astronaut. If they never went to space and only trained in it...

Reminds me of one of my favorite old Heinlein sci fi stories "Have spacesuit Will Travel".

If one owned one of these they could recoup part of the purchase price renting it out as a movie prop.

.
Sokol spacesuits, used inside the Soyuz and the ISS, can be made to measure, although these come in a few sizes...but it are the Soyuz capsule " Kazbek " seats which are 100% custom-made for each cosmonaut (they take a plaster bath !).
Orlan have been used since 1977 and I have several space-flown gloves... these can be identified in high resolution spacewalk photos if the unique serial number on each glove can clearly be seen...
