I gave my bracelet (1580/952) a dip in the Ultrasonic cleaner and everything came out together. I have had pins vibrate out during such a session before. Anyways, for some reason I wore my watch to bed that night and awoke to find my watch bracelet had seperated. I told my wife not to move too much and she came up with the pin in her hand, but after a couple of hours searching and vacuuming, the tube was nowhere to be found. The ultrasonic cleaning must have dislodged enough dirt to loosen the pin up, as it is not the first time that I have had to insert a pin, though first time for the Clasp Pin to come out. Perhaps losing it in bed was fortunate. Anyways.. I can only find one seller for the Clasp Pin and Tube for Omega Bracelet 1580/952. Swisswatchparts - UK has them in stock though is on holidays until July 21, and at over $AUD40 I am taking this opportunity to shop around. Checked Ofrei out to the best of my ability, to no avail. I am led to believe that the 1580-952 Clasp Tube and Pin are interchangeable with the 1502-824 Bracelet. Anyone have any tips? In the mean time, guess I'll be wearing something else..
You can check with local Omega Boutique. They may have it in stock and may be able to fix it on the spot.
.... Thanks Jim.. Actually, when I saw that post I thought.. "Why didn't I think of that?" Answer is, the older I get, the more and more I dislike heading to the city, let alone right into the middle... Unless I am heading to the Airport that is.. Give me the wide open spaces anyday, though like fuel and most other commodities, it comes at a price..
Maybe try generic? https://www.esslinger.com/watch-band-parts-tube-refills-for-tube-and-band-assortment/
Thanks for that mate.. Will defintely do a bit more study there as I also have some other items sitting in the "cart" on that site at the moment. That's great.
The part number for the tube that attaches the clasp to the first link of that bracelet (on either end) is #201ST0074. Since the pin came out just from ultrasonic cleaning, it is likely worn and you should replace both the pin and tube at the same time. The pin at the diver extension end is 128ST9081, and at the other end is 128ST9066. With the part numbers you should be able to find them hopefully. Cheers, Al
