Sorry, can you help me with my father's Omega, can´t find any like this one

I have this Omega from my father, I know it was given to him when he was 10 years..... and that was a long, long time ago. So, when I was 10 he gave it to me (also a long time ago... lol).
I'm reading all I find about Omega but can't find the ref. 2503-5 nor the nr. 11457481...🙁

You have a very nice vintage Omega CK2503 dating to approximately 1947 based on the serial number.

The Omega Vintage Database doesn't have a photo of your watch but if you Google "Omega 2503" you will see many like yours.

Omega made many different dial designs for the same reference, so finding an exact match to your dial could take time.

Of course it does, it was your father's, and before him, your grandfather's. Monetary value is meaningless in this situation.

Please don't sell it.

As @JimInOz mentioned, these references had many different dial/hand configurations, so you may not be able to find an identical example on the internet. Not everyone posts photos of their watches online. 😉

Nevertheless, it looks totally legit to me, and it's a very nice watch with tremendous sentimental value.

I'm trying not to, but if I will need to help my children ....:-(
I know it was given to my father when he was about 9 years old and he gave it to me when I had same age...

You won't make any money on it. In this condition, I suspect at best you'd get $200 in the United States. Not sure where you are.

Better you get a second job.

I'm in Portugal and about that second job I would if I could get the 1rst one ... ;-)

Till now I'm feeling ok, have no job now but's ok... Money can't buy us all, it helps but it's not the most important... I'm happy and that makes me feel good ;-)
