    Sometimes luck is on your side when buying on bad pictures.

    This was the only picture on a buy it now auction and pulled the trigger.

    Congratz that patina is really cool, I had a black 2848 a while back which had started to develope the same kind of patina. Maybe it would have turned in to something like this eventuellt! :)

    Must be something with the black dials of this era, usually starts around the text and indexes
