    Looks like the way these teeth mesh they would tend to wear in rather than wear out. Improving the mesh and smoothness of action with use.

    House made for Bailey Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia.....marked on dial and movement as such, and quite possibly the case as well. That's when pocket watches were still king. Very high grade piece. Very nice.

    Yes, marked on the case, also an inscription and set of initials on the cover. The watch was presented to a Howard Ketcham on September 28 1910.
