    .... going crazy hearing this stupid song!

    I opened the store at 9:45 this morning. I had the radio on by 10, tuned to what this store's manager deems an appropriate station. It's not even 3:30 and it's been played 5 times! It was kinda catchy the first time I heard it a few weeks ago. Now it's becoming irritating.

    OK it must be a slow day and I'm sure you're irritated and going nuts, but.....

    I DON'T CARE. I DON'T CARE. I DON'T CARE. I DON'T CARE. I DON'T CARE. I DON'T CARE.

    Break the radio and put a CD player in the store. I'm sure non-stop AC/DC will get the punters pouring in.

    I haven't listened to commercial music radio in years. Between the iPhone/iPod and Sirius/XM, there's just no reason to listen to things I don't like.

    So let me make sure I this straight...the manager at your store is playing music with 4-letter words in the lyrics all day long?

    Retail has sure changed! ::facepalm2::

    The station blanks out the curses.

    I might have to go for the hard stuff. Made a greatest hit disc of Nine Inch Nails a few weeks ago - might have to pull it out of the car.

    Ah, kinda of like "Good Girls Don't", back in the day. They had two versions. This is the original from the LP. The 45rpm single was sanitized. May want to turn this video off around 1:30 if you are in a public place.

    I remember there was a big controversy when the UF radio station played the "wrong" version by mistake.

    It's playing yet again at 6:58.

    Get The Knack was a pretty good album.

    Time to go home then.

    It was, but most of the songs on the album suffered the same fate as the one you posted. No matter how good they were, you get sick of them after hearing them 242 times a day for months on end.

    There's a good reason Noriega finally surrendered to the Marines.

    So grammatically, does that make "nineties" a noun? As in "I'm a nineties."

    A good suggestion, but I'd prefer something that really rocks like 'Whole Lotta Rosie' or 'Shoot to Thrill'.
