That trio would be the bottomless pit of rehab expense, here at the "Home For Wayward Watches" for I'd find myself trying to restore all of them.
There are also small details that are distinctive between the A11 front case and other Longines Weems. Good luck with the restoration Seiji.
I guess I meant the mid-case. The size of the indentations for the movement holder screws are also different. I also have a project A11 weems that has been on my "to be fixed" list for many years now...
I usually keep the project watches until they either get fixed or I find one in good condition. You will be the first to know if the second option ever happens.
Here are some pictures. Obviously, not the cutest one in town but hey, it is a military watch and it must have seen some action.
The non-weems is more seldom seen. Beautiful watches Seiji! Where did you get those bracelets? They have some allure.
No way !?!?! There you go— that’s typical Longines for you. They kept switching things around and introcucing variations to everything. Identical crowns have slightly different stem diameters dependong on the referénce.
Mine is a civilian which I like because of its unique blend of colors. I’ve never seen another one with a dial like it.
