Mike, Ashley has a thread about Date-at-6 bumpers going. Want to post this there? http://omegaforums.net/threads/some-smpp-date-at-six-pics.7030/ It started as Pie Pans but morphed into any type.
A few I've owned... An uncommon Combination of numbers and arrows with waffle dial with PG markers. A simple Date at 6, one of the earliest date models. One I own now, a date a 3 with original black dial.
Is this a gilt dial ? Is the gold printing in gold paint on top of the black or is it the polished brass of the dial showing through?
i have waffle dial too.... really grungy, this one still needs to be serviced, and i'm sure the red second hand isn't original, but i like it. the drilled lugs are cool. thoughts as to what would be the original crown? the high hat style, or the clover type?
