Thank's
But this one has never been polished, I'm quite sure neither of me nor previous owners. It was completely untouched except that service had been done when I bought it for several years ago
My mistake! 馃榾 The lugs looks quite rounded, but that may be the factory specs.
Lovely watch!
Interesting to compare with this example: https://omegaforums.net/threads/longines-conquest-9026-from-1964.72788/
That is how I thought the lugs on a Conquest are supposed to look like: sharp and with clear facets. But since I am no Longines expert, I wouldn鈥檛 stand firm on my initial statement 馃榾
It may just be OP鈥檚 pictures that make it look rounder and smoother than it is IRL.

Thanks for sharing, quite a beauty.
Question on the lume on the dial - I noticed the hands have either a black inlay or darkened radium. The dial has empty lume plots. I don鈥檛 see signs of dial cleaning.. so this was an original option from the factory?
Yes!
This is what the hands look like after 60 years.
The hands are radium then? Have you tested by chance?
