Gold cap omegas including constellations don't get enough love. I haven't let that get in the way though if the condition is tops though I must admit I am a bit pickier regarding the condition if it is a gold cap piece. Here are some examples: Black dial cal. 504: Ref. 2887: Cal. 505 with boxes and papers: Railtrack dial: Cal. 551 black dial:
Kinda slumin' with that last one. Slump buster...…. Gotta critique where ya can with your collection!
I think you may have to rethink your thread tactics @MSNWatch. lead with the last one and then hit 'em with the unobtainable stuff.....
I know I’m supposed to be impressed by black dials but that 2887 and the railroad are the best for me. Rose gold 168.027
I've had a few, but they never seem to last with me, I much prefer all steel or all gold. I still have these two though which I think are both pretty nice.
I’ve only got one gold cap - a 1966 168.004 hidden crown, next to a stainless steel dome dial cousin Both these .004s are from Omega’s 100,000 consecutive COSC run
Actually, i missed typed!!! I also have this super flat Cal 712 167.021, also 1966 While the 004s run almost to 36mm, these are smaller at 33mm, but still nice to wear, if you have a smaller wrist
