My favorite and not the Magnum PI car... the first truly crazy Ferrari ever made.

My dream Ferrari, and oddly the one people dismiss as a 308.. far far from one.

While I’d like a 308 GTB over the open top GTS/Magnum ..that car in the picture is actually a 288GTO the father of the F40 and substantially different from a 308. It’s a car only car guys recognize. I saw one at a show and you could tell the real car guys geeking out, and the plebs dismissing it as a Magnum car.

You mean 328, which was the updated version of the 308. The 348 looks like a bastard cross between a Testarossa and an F355

My favorite of the "modern" (post-'60s) Ferraris by far. There's a great story here on the development of the 288 GTO, totally worth a read.

Wow! I just saw a red 250GTO on hwy 401 near Chatham Ontario last Friday! RM Auctions is right there, and I wonder if it going on the block soon? I understand there is only 36 known and they are around $40Mil  (Pic is not the actual car, I pulled the image from the web)

    I was being over dramatic;)

It’s strangely unknown considering what it is. They are stunningly proportioned in person in a way even the hard top 308 isn’t. It’s wider the flares are perfectly integrated, the functional rear gills...are someof the reasons I like it. It’s about as much of a wolf in sheeps clothing as you can get in a Ferrari. It’s a more comfortable less flashy F40. Plus you know you will have a great convo with someone that’s knows what it is.

I’m fairly sure @abrod520 like I do considers it his favorite for the similar reasons.
