Hi guys, Not too long ago, I met with Wei Koh from Revolution. A while ago he did a very nice and in-depth interview with William from Speedmaster101 that I thoroughly enjoyed. Well, I sat next to Wei Koh during an event with Omega (Night at the Museum in Bienne) and we chatted a bit about Speedmasters (of course). He asked me if I would be open to an interview with him for Revolution, and of course, I was. Not much later I received a message from him if I was ready for it ;-) Well, here is the result. If you already read it or saw it somewhere here, excuse me. I searched the forums but couldn't find it (but my search skills might be lacking). Anyway, I thought it might be interesting for those who have the ST1, ST2, or both, or one on order or is just interested in the topic. It answers some questions regarding the origin of Speedy Tuesday, the design and where some of the inspiration came from. I hope you enjoy. https://www.revolution.watch/conversation-robert-jan-broer-founder-fratello-watches/ Have a nice Sunday, RJ
RJ - that is a hell of a photograph! It shows that you really can't have too much of a good thing, and what a good thing the Speedy is! Equally, I greatly appreciate all your work in championing the brand and the model, enabling a relative newcomer like me to get to grips with the complex history of the watch's design, development and heritage. Your blog coverage and forum contributions - as I'd say is also the case with William's - represent the very best aspects of enthusiasm for Omega. Thank you.
Doesn't Wei Koh have an actualy Speedy Ultraman (original)? I remember reading somewhere that he has one in very good condition.
Great story. I was wondering : what happened to the NASA-marked/owned radial dialed Alaska that the Dutch astronaut's son had (that you had with you for a bit)? Returned to the mother-ship?
