Hello. I am looking at two seamasters. But can only buy one. I cannot deside which one to buy, so could someone with more knowledge than me come with some advice as to which one would be the smart choice.

The first one is a blue model from 2002. It was serviced in July 2015 and comes with papers and box. But it located in another country, which means I cannot see it before I pay. Price 1200 eur.

The other one (all steel) I do not know anything about, I cannot even find the model when searching google, so I hope someone can tell me something about the model. As I said I do not know the age or when it was serviced last, it comes without a box and papers. The buying price would be 1106 eur.

    Thanks André

These are both mid-sized Quartz models and seem to both be a bit high priced. You can do better with a little tenacity.

    I really like this one...

    Thank you.

The last watch you refer to, is exactly the watch I wanted! But I thought it did not exist in mid size, so thank you very much!

You're welcome! It's one of my favorite SMPs...I have a full size automatic Electric Blue and wear it often!

Hi. I just received the watch, and I am a little conserned that it is a fake...
    here is the watch.
The reason I think it is a fake is that the second hand is not running "smooth" instead it moves one step per second.
Can someone help me with the detection?

    Regards,
    André

As noted previously, it is a quartz watch, not a mechanical, so it will tick in 1 second increments...

From what I can see it looks good.

    Cheers, Al

+1 that is most likely legit ...

plus i really like the fact that is has the "conservative" bracelet, as opposed to the "bling-bling" bracelet of the normal SMP - aestetically I could never really stomach that ...
