In an effort to just use my new watch without worrying about scratches (PCL), I changed the strap/deployant :)

The new strap and the "tool".

    And the outcome.

Works well! Always nice to have different looks for a watch..

From the title and photo i thought your solution to scratches on the PCL was to wear it with plastic wrap. :) i prefer straps to bracelets...looks good!

Lol. I just placed the plastic because I knew I was going to struggle trying to take off the bracelet, which I did. Without the plastic, I would have probably scratched it up. Thanks.

No, San Mateo. Been to Alice's off of 92 when I still had my bike though.

Just have your PCL band center link brushed; there's no sense to me in not using a bracelet just to avoid scratching the polished center link.

After a few weeks using a strap, back to the bracelet. Feels like I have an entirely new watch. Can't wait till I receive my black croc band. :)

Looks great on the Bracelet and the Leather. I removed the bracelet from my PO because of scratching the offside (above 12 o'clock) whilst working at a computer. Currently I have it on a NATO

I now think that you can never have enough watch straps or bracelets for "the tool" .....feels like you've far more watches than you actually have :)

Learn how to remove your bracelet quickly without damaging it and swap around frequently to keep it fresh

Thank you. Yes, I'm getting used to removing and installing these bands. I probably won't use tape next time. Also, I only have two watches. Below is a picture of a watch I purchased when I was 19, 20 years ago! Lol. I installed the omega strap and deployant....

The black dial and dark brown crocodile combo for the Aqua Terra looks fantastic! And the stainless steel bracelet is not terrible, either :)

A brown strap with a blue dial is a good look.

.... and thank you for using the correct term "deployant". I can skip a day of medication now. :p

I hate PCL's, at least my AT has a brushed bracelet. I still love it on a deployment (That was for ULF) deployant but man the leather gives it such a rich look.

I thought the OP was going to show a shot of the watch completely encased in bubble wrap. I am glad the plastic was only for change over as well. :D

Nice, my Coke bezel 16710 is 15 years old and looks new like yours.

Thanks. So how many inserts do you have? I plan to buy a Coke too but I'm afraid that I won't end up using it. I'm having a hard time right now deciding of either using the black or pepsi bezel because I like both! :)
