Surprised you haven't bought it yet, Corn. Good job fighting the temptation

Yes, I am looking for 80s era gold tone Speedmaster. Want to finish the decades collection. 80s were not a good year for Speedmasters.

I know gold is not for everyone, but a few days back I tried on @repoman Apollo Soyuz gold Speedmaster with gold bracelet and that thing was freaking awesome. His was an LE, only 50 made.

There is a solid gold Speedmaster from the 80s and I'd love to buy it, just not very often they come up for sale.

That (re)seller was banned here a few months back for pirating the case opener design from another forum member.

I'm trying really hard to sell vs. buy. Buying is a lot more fun.

He wasn't removed for any issues related to watch sales, as stated above it was related to a case opener and how that was handled on his part. I'm going to move this to modern watches as it's not an FS listing by anyone here.

80s were a great decade for speedmasters! In addition to the very cool gold models introduced at the start of the decade, there were a few pretty rare and handsome two tone models, plus the holy grail, the original speedymoon, and I'm sure others I don't know about. A grail just went up on eBay, but the price seems pretty high for the condition it is in, with no box and papers.

I nearly choked on my beer. US$12.5K! You can ask what you want, doesn't mean you will get it. It was Chuck Maddox grail watch, times may have moved on from then?

The paperclip in the movement didn't help either.
