About the watch:

DIAL: with original dial in very good condition with applied stick indexes, Longines logo, and gold colour hands.
MOVEMENT: powered by manual caliber 6942 - working well,
CASE: made from solid gold 18k, in oryginal shape, unpolished
DIAMETER: ca 34mm w/out crown,

Beautiful watch!

Quick correction on the movement: this is a 6942 (I tried to look up "6842" and failed). This is one of the last calibers made by Longines before they were integrated into the Swatch company. The movement was introduced in 1974, is beating at 28.800 bph and has an interesting feature: If the crown is pulled, the second hand continues running to the zero position and then stops. Very useful to set the time correctly.
