I think I detect a gold shell over stainless steel case? Possibly for the English market? I have no idea how Swiss and English standard marks and hall marks apply to gold shell cases. It would seem the case isn’t either Swiss, or English, so that might explain why it is marked the way it is.

Possibly Australian market.

I know Handley made contact cases for Omega.

Thanks guys I guess I could test with a magnetic? Tho I don't believe stainless steel is magnetic anyway. Or maybe a little scratch test somewhere?

If it is a gold shell, the backs of the lugs will look like stainless. If everything is uniformly gold colored, it’s probably a solid case. The marking doesn’t indicated plated or filled.

The under side of the lugs tell me it is gold shell.

I believe it’s a shadow. From what I can see it does look all the same colour
