Dear OF, Up for your consideration is my 18ct yellow gold UG Monodatic. Acquired by me earlier this year, re-prioritization compels me to sell it off already. The dial is beautiful, but not spotless. The case is sharp, but presumably not unpolished. Regardless, for a watch some 75 years old, it is in remarkable condition. I don't believe the crown or crystal to be original. The bumper movement runs strong and the crown action feels very clean and satisfying in all regards. I believe the best way to show this watch off is in moving picture, so here goes, in 60fps. Please remember to turn on high definition, and excuse my beer stash in the background The only downside to this watch is the slightly bent bottom left lug. It's nearly impossible to capture but I tried to show it below. I don't think it is visible while wearing the watch, however it is there. The top ones are fine. Hi there, thanks for pointing out that I missed some key information in my listing. The diameter is 35mm excl. crown. The bumper movement was not serviced in my possession. I noticed while wearing the watch that it seems to run quite accurately, but I can't give you an exact deviation because I don't possess a timegrapher. I'd guesstimate +/- 30s/d tops. Given the general feel of the crown action, however, I'd say based on experience that the movement should be in good condition all-round. The winding is particularly crisp and clean. In setting the time, the crown lacks a tad of resistance, but nothing shocking.
I had the opportunity to put the watch on a timegrapher yesterday. The amplitude is perhaps a bit low but it's fine for vintage standards, IMO.
