I need to make room and consolidate my collection. I therefore have to sell this 1969 beauty. it is 100% original

Case (steel) is flawless. Size is 38mm. It may have had a super light polish in the past (maybe not as the star on the caseback is perfect). Lug size is 19mm

Dial is perfect, not a single scratch or oxidation signs nor stains

hands are perfect, including sub register blue hands

Crown is original and period correct (super hard to find)

Crystal is original. Most probably polished in the past to remove the scratches

Movement is a 146HP serviced 2 years ago. it is an in-house (Pont de Martel) hand wounded movement.

Asking 4900 USD

I am located in Geneva, Switzerland. Watch can be send anywhere from Switzerland or EU. F2F is preferable.

These are the kind of watches that get found, bought, and stashed away by the black holes who are veteran members of this forum. From experience, I can tell you that once you become a black hole, you'll always be one. Maybe the gravitational pull waxes and wanes, but it never fully goes away.

Gotta go knock off a Brinks truck......

FIFY.

How is this still here? If I hadn't just bought the exact same model I would be all over it. This one is even nicer so I'm sort of kicking myself as it is! 😉
Underrated is an overused term but this chrono is that -- GLWS! 👍

Thanks buddy but c'mon yours is also fantastic!!

I've had offers for 4500usd which is too low IMHO. On the other hand I am not hurried as I love this beauty.... Also value will increase in the near future with el primero anniversary in 6 months, so I may sell it for more in the future....

Considering same ref. with wrong parts, stains and scratches were sold for approx 4000 at Sothebys and hodinkee... You understand why I won't let it go for a cheap price.
