Hi All, I have decided to sell my Iconic Omega Seamster. It was bought back in the day, (about 12yrs ago), when an unmolested example could still be found. It arrived from a pawn shop complete with wrist cheese and on the strap pictured which may even be the original. (i can’t make out embossing). Most importantly, the case presented with the original factory, brushed finish with no signs of polishing evident. The blue sunburst dial is unblemished and the lume has attained a lovely patina (lume is intact on hands, just a shadow in photos). The high dome crystal, original crown and strap buckle have the Omega symbol. I have swapped out two parts, the inner chapter ring, as the original had a scratch and the white seconds hand with a blue hand to help with legibility. Both new parts are genuine Omega and were bought from Ofrei. The originally fitted parts are included with sale should you wish to swap back. Finally, all features (date & chrono) work as they should and the timekeeping is accurate. The movement is very clean but service history is unknown. Please feel free to ask any questions. Watch can be viewed in Melbourne area if requested. Sale is by bank transfer, Paypal or face to face in Melbourne. I have many watch sales on both Timezone.com and Ebay. Will post internationally through Australia Post fully insured only. Asking AUD$3950 + shipping Thanks for looking and to OF for space!
A very nice example…GLWS I have the 176.001 iteration…they are all, such visually attractive watches I suspect these particular Chronos, will explode in value soon Last time Hodinkee did a piece on them, was way back in 2012…Long overdue a revisit
Thank you ICONO. Actually just sold today to a buyer who seems really excited to be getting it...makes parting a little easier!
