SOLD Universal Geneve SS, Cal. 332. Unusual dial!

Up for sale is this is very cool UG with large stainless steel case and very unusual and attractive partially waffle dial. I have been googling around to find another one like this but no luck. Serial nr puts this watch back to early 50s, somewhere between 1951-1952.

About the watch:

Movement: Cal 332, manually wind. Works well, not serviced in my possession

Case: Screw down Stainless steel in good condition. Looks unpolished to me. 36 mm without the crown.
Marked UG on the inside and ref. nr and Serial nr on the outside.

Dial: Beautiful original dial in very nice condition. Missing lume on the minute hand.

Crown: No markings. No clue if it is original

Function: Keeping time and winds well. No service history. If planned to be used daily I would recommend an overhaul.

Strap: 18mm Brown Leather strap
