Sold:Seiko Alpinist blue dial SPB089 - USA Limited Edition of 1959

I was very fortunate to find and purchase this last Friday. The watch is in unused condition as from the AD. This is a limited edition of 1959 that supposedly was destined for the USA as it has been called the Hodinkee Edition. it was first released as available from Hodinkee. Then very quickly it became available here in the USA from Seiko USA. Most of these were sold out in April and May of this year. I had no idea a few were left available, and this is a lucky one.

Most of these seem to be selling around $850-$950. I will sell this timepiece at $750 to the first one who contacts me.
