For sale is my Pepsi GMT, Model 1675. Watch was serviced by NYC RSC in 2013. Dial has a nice creamy patina starting. It is in excellent condition, has a few swirls here and there. Lugs are still thick, and have a nice edge. Band is a newer 93150, with 580 end links. It will come with a period correct Rolex box, and hang tag nothing else. I have not had it timed, but when set to my phone it has been running great. I will entertain a trade for a Rolex Ceramic GMT 116710, or a Rolex Explorer II 216570.
Price: $5800 net to me, price includes overnight shipping in the United States only
Payment: Bank wire, personal check, and I will accept Paypal with references.

Nice. question... how can you tell/verify a Pepsi started as a blue and red and not born with a black bezel?

I dont think you can. Rolex will verify if your model was originally made with the option, but I don't think they can tell specifically which bezel it came with.

But as long as it's an original part and time appropriate who cares?

Is it all original or were the any of bezel, dial or hands changed during service?

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments and question. When the watch was serviced by NYC RSC in 2013, they replaced the hands, and looks like the bezel. Dial (MarkV), case, and crystal appear to be original.... Has started a beautiful creamy patina on the dial. The band is not original to this model, it never came with a 93150. The band is a newer replacement, with very little stretch. Cheers all......

Great question. I guess my understanding is when it's sent back to have a service, RSC will replace any parts that are not original to the watch. I'm sure through their data base and serial number system, they know if it is a pepsi, coke or black bezel GMT.

If that bezel is 36 year old I want to meet its doctor. It does look genuine but I'd think it was replaced when the watch was serviced

It's 100% genuine, has it been replaced? I tend to side with you on that one.

Yeah, which it's a pitty, whish they had at least kept the original on the side because it's a great vintage piece and looks a little off to have such a pristine bezel

I have to disagree, the watch looks excellent with this combo. One can always source a faded bezel, if it's not to their liking.

Yes, one can source a faded bezel - but it will never be the original bezel, will it? If one wants a Pepsi with a brand new bezel, brand new Pepsi GMTs can be bought.

It's a very nice watch, but the fact that the bezel is a factory replacement and not original needs to be noted. Consider that done now.

    GLWS!

Looks great, and it's a great watch no doubt. Didn't mean to imply otherwise. To me faded and aged bezels only make sense if they belong to a specific watch, otherwise it's a little too curated for me. I have nothing against new bezels, why not refresh a watch with a good original part? but I would have loved to have the original as well. Just me.

I just bought a brand new bezel "coke" for a GMT from 2004. I kept the original black bezel just for the sake of having the continuity option. Bare in mind a new bezel at Rolex is $40 to $70 installed, which is nothing. A good exa ole of a well aged bezel is hundreds of dollars. I really don't know why Rolex is so indiscriminate at changing parts that don't really need changing and then keeping the originals (unless you ask them not to)

Or "almost brand new" Rolex only makes the Pepsi bezel right now for the white gold model I believe...which sucks.
