The model has a three-body construction: a large and robust polished and brushed, stainless steel Oyster case (40 mm) with downturned lugs, Twinlock winding crown with protective horns, screwed case back, snap on brushed steel bezel with black Arabic numerals for the 24 hours. White porcelain dial also known as "Polar Dial" with Luminous hour markers and date aperture to "3", quite rare to find in its version "Swiss only" that means Luminova (produced only between 1998 and 1999). Stainless Steel Oyster bracelet ref. 78790 with endings ref. 501b, complete with all its links (could fit a wrist up to 20 cm), Steel Deployant buckle with "Fliplock" closure (clasp code X8, coeval with the watch). Automatic Self-Winding Movement Cal. Rolex 3185, rhodium-plated, mechanical with "oeil-de-perdrix" decoration, 31 jewels, certified chronometer, with straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with Microstella regulating screws, adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance-spring. The 24-hour red central hand with triangular tip can be used to track day and night hours when read against the 24-hour bezel, or allow the wearer to set another timezone, like a dual-time watch (GMT function). Water-resistant up to 100m (10ATM). The watch is in amazing preowned condition, never polished and still sharp in angles, with a very solid bracelet. It has no scratches or hints at all. It has been serviced 3 years ago by previous owner, and it works perfectly in all its functions. It comes with its complete full original set: inner and outern Rolex boxes, original punched Rolex papers (Serial A - 1999), calendar 1998-1999, booklets and instructions.
