·For sale is the Omega Seamaster Professional GMT Ref. 2538.20. This is the white GMT version of the popular Seamaster sword hand series and also known as “The Great White.” It comes as pictured – outer and inner boxes, card holder with 3 cards (International Warranty, Chronometer and Pictograms), and instruction booklet.
This discontinued model has something of a following as it combines some well-regarded features, including a stunning white dial with large diver’s lume markers and the Omega wave pattern, large sword hands, a Speedy-style bracelet and 24 hour GMT function with independent hour hand setting and chronometer movement. It’s a lot of watch for the money.
It is in very good to excellent condition with several very tiny nicks only noticeable under a loupe (and enhanced in the photos) but not visible to the eye. The bracelet and clasp are in excellent condition, and the Omega 1611/931 SS bracelet is currently sized to fit a 7.25 inches wrist (with two additional links). The crystal is clean and the lume on the dial is still brilliant. The watch runs well and slightly longer than its rated power reserve of 44 hours.
Omega Ref: 2538.20, stainless steel with sapphire crystal, and Omega Calibre1128.
$2,300 includes US shipping. Returns less shipping cost upon 48 hours notice of signed receipt, and only if watch is not as represented or pictured. Lots of positive references available.
Thanks for looking.
