Hi OF, up for sale is an Omega Seamaster Automatic Cal. 552 Ref. 165.003 Stainless Steel Case Case: The case is in a nice condition, without any major scratches. The insides of the lugs are nice and sharp. It appears to me that the watch was maybe slightly polished in the past. Caseback bears the Seamaster inscription and a nice fat and crisp Seamonster. Please look at the pictures. Dial: The dial has a silver sunburst finish and only shows minor frackles when hold at a certain angle. Bearing the applied silver Omega Logo.Swiss made at 6. The black onyx filling of the hour markers and hands is nice and undamaged. Crystal: The crystal is clean, with only some micro scratches, the omega logo is visible in the center. A bit of polywatch and it should be perfect again. Movement: Movement is the famous Omega automatic 552 movement with swan neck regulation. Movement is clean and runs. Service history is unknown though, i'd recommend a service if you intend to daily wear it. Mov. number is 20924xxx dating this watch as one of the earliest of the 165.003 ref. at 1963 according to the chronomaddox chart. Strap and Clasp: The watch comes on a generic ostrich leather strap with an original Omega silver buckle. The buckle shows only some little signs of wear. Box: The watch comes in its original red Omega Box. Box is in good condition given its age. Stamped "swiss made" and "VF" on the back. According to the sticker on the Box, the watch was purchased in Düsseldorf (Dusseldorf), Germany. Overall I think this is a nice entry piece into the vintage Seamaster world, with a service this would make a nice wearable vintage watch. Price is 650 € / 730 $ OBO net to me , per Bankwire, or cash F2F. A F2F in the Rhain/Main region would be appreciated . Otherwise shipping included within Germany with InteX. Shipping within the EU with DHL insured, full tracking is ca. 27 €. For overseas shipping please contact me beforehand and we can figure something out. I will not sell to the former Commblock-States, exept if you can provide solid references. Thanks OF for the space ! Max
