Reduced to $250, fees included. Offered for sale is one of two Longines Grand Prize watches in stainless steel, the other in a separate listing. Reference 2731, caliber 342 automatic movement. Original finish dial with full Arabic numeral markers and original hands. Excellent condition. Case is also in excellent condition, with fine definition in the lug facets. Polishing history unknown, but it appears very few times if at all. Movement photo credit to the gent who sold it to me. I am not inclined to tinker with a well-running movement and superb dial, so I do not want to pull the crystal/crown to get to it! Those familiar with the Grand Prize movement will appreciate the presence of all paint on the rotor, and the absence of scratches in the case back. It appears to have been well cared for these 50-odd years. In fact, I will include a receipt dated 02/08/2015 for the service it received per the previous caretaker. The sound of the rotor on its track is hypnotic, yet another quality that fans of this caliber will admire. The case measures 33.4mm without the winding crown. Strap is not included.
